Super Affiliate Challenge – half way through week 2
I admit that I’ve been questioning the validity of this challenge over the past few days. I know I signed up for some serious work, but we were told it would require just two hours a day. Last weekend I worked through the plan and wrote down all of the activities for the 11 weeks and the numbers just didn’t add up.

The website in question is built around Disney World vacations; I’m not sure why I’ve avoided sharing that up until now, after all I publish the site under my own name so a simple Google search would bring it to your attention! It started out life in early 2008 as a blog called A Pocketful of Pixie Dust and was a place for me to write about Disney World and why planning is key when anyone goes to visit the Mouse. I’m a long time fan of WDW and am always amazed at the number of people who just seem to show up looking lost so I wanted to ‘give something back’.

So today in the Adsense 101 Bootcamp we’re looking at information pages – one of which is the wonderful About Me page. Every Wordpress install comes with one set up and ready and waiting to be filled in – but what do you do with yours? Delete it? Complete it?

This week in the Adsense 101 Bootcamp we moved onto keyword research and site structure. Steve did a great job of walking us through the keyword research from seed keywords through to the long tail and how to find the gold nugget keywords that would not only bring in money but also be relatively easy to rank for. He then showed us how to use those keywords to build a website structure.

Today is Day 6 in the Adsense 101 Bootcamp and Steve has produced some helpful videos all about keyword research. I was doing my homework for today and remembered a ‘trick’ I had discovered for generating seed keyword lists. I thought I’d share it here for you.

Last year I stumbled across Steve Crook’s $100 a day Adsense challenge over on the Warrior Forum and followed it with interest. His Adsense strategy is to build authority sites and I actually think this is a better long term strategy than the Xfactor model I’ve been playing with over the last couple of weeks. I’ve been subscribing to his blog and on Monday I saw that he was re-opening the doors of his Adsense 101 Bootcamp – so I immediately broke my ‘thou shalt not spend more money on IM training’ resolution and cracked open my PayPal account
