Affiliate Marketing – some wise words from Jimmy D Brown
Mar 17I'm a big fan of Jimmy D Brown's products - he's the one 'guru' who actually talks some sense! He sent me this case study and I thought I would post it here.
Adsense 101 Bootcamp Week 3 – A complete website overhaul
Mar 13The website in question is built around Disney World vacations; I'm not sure why I've avoided sharing that up until now, after all I publish the site under my own name so a simple Google search would bring it to your attention! It started out life in early 2008 as a blog called A Pocketful of Pixie Dust and was a place for me to write about Disney World and why planning is key when anyone goes to visit the Mouse. I'm a long time fan of WDW and am always amazed at the number of people who just seem to show up looking lost so I wanted to 'give something back'.
Adsense 101 Bootcamp Week 2 – Are my Xfactor sites dead in the water?
Mar 06This week in the Adsense 101 Bootcamp we moved onto keyword research and site structure. Steve did a great job of walking us through the keyword research from seed keywords through to the long tail and how to find the gold nugget keywords that would not only bring in money but also be relatively easy to rank for. He then showed us how to use those keywords to build a website structure.
WP Exit – Exchange your product for backlinks
Mar 06I just came across an interesting WP plugin called WP Exit. I don't know how many of you sell products on your website but I'm sure like me you have a lot of people make it to the sales page and then click away. This nifty little plugin tracks those visitors and when they leave without buying it offers them the product for free in return for promoting it for you.
Xfactor update – one week on
Feb 14Well my flurry of activity early on in the week on my Xfactor sites had to be relaced by some activity on my authority sites. Having said that I did get 5 sites live so I thought I'd have a look back over the week and see how they did.
